How Does the Orficast Thermoplastic Tape Work?

The Orficast Thermoplastic Tape is a low temperature thermoplastic material with a textile-like feel that is used for the fabrication of small immobilisation splints. The tape sticks to itself and to all porous surfaces very easily, which makes it simple to shake and model to any patient’s anatomy. Moreover, the stretchy material can be reactivated and unwrapped if not completely pressed together, which allows you to make small corrections to the splint if necessary.
