How Does the Splash Proof Transmitter Work?

It is part of our Medpage MPPL Range and is suitable for use specifically with the MPPL Pager, which triggers sound and vibration when the transmitter is pressed. The pager is compatible with other products in this range too, such as a vibrating floor mat, panic alarm system, facial activation alarm and panic alarm pendant, all found on our website.

Please note that the Splash Proof Transmitter may not be suitable for some older versions of the MPPL pager. Please bear this in mind when placing your order.

How Do I Wear the Pendant?

This pendant is supplied with both a wrist strap and a breakaway lanyard, allowing it to be worn discreetly. It can be worn around the wrist with the wrist strap or around the neck with the lanyard.

What Do I Need to Use the Transmitter Pendant?

With your purchase you will receive a transmitter, an alarm button and a sensor. All you need now is the MPPL Pager, which acts as the end of the alarm system which will alert a noise when triggered. This will ensure that a carer or loved one nearby will be alerted should the user need help.

How Do I Use the Splash Proof Transmitter?

The “Call” button on the pendant is easy to see and easy to press, meaning it is suitable for most users. It is waterproof but it also designed for use in wet conditions, with a rubber design that ensures easy grip in the wet and a “Call” button that is easy to press even with limited dexterity. It comes with a lanyard too, which prevents the transmitter from becoming lost or misplaced.
