If you’re using the PIR Motion Detector, options for angling the device are limited unless you use the PIR Stand for the MPPL PIR Motion Detector. The PIR Stand can be mounted to any wall in a position of your choosing, allowing you to monitor all parts of your house that you think require monitoring.

What Is the PIR Stand for MPPL PIR Detector For?

The PIR Stand is designed to hold your PIR Motion Detector in a position of our choosing. This enables you to monitor anyone, anywhere in your house.

The PIR Motion Detector can sit near a sleeping person who is at risk of suffering from a seizure. If the person has a seizure, the detector will send an alarm via a transmitter to an MPPL Pager, which will alert nearby users. The Motion Detector is ideal for adults and children who suffer from epilepsy, and the elderly who may wander off because of dementia.

Features of the PIR Stand for the MPPL PIR Motion Detector

The stand is designed to be free-standing. This means your PIR Transmitter does not need to be mounted onto the wall, but can be positioned wherever is ideal – on a coffee table, for example. Without attaching it to the wall, there is no concern over damaging paintwork or wallpaper either, as the Velcro dots used for attachment can cause problems with this.
