What Can I Practice with this Manikin?

With an arrhythmia/pacing simulator, this Paediatric ALS Manikin recreates 17 paediatric heart rhythms and 17 adult rhythms. This allows the user to simulate electronic capture as well as cardioversion with manual, semiautomatic, or automatic defibrillation. Lubrication and Intubation

To begin intubation, lubricate the ET tube with KY Jelly (supplied). This trainer manikin will accept up to a 3.5 ET tube and can be intubated orally or nasally. The ET tube can accept simulated medication (water). You should only use water-based lubricants when using the manikin and not petroleum-based lubricants.

How Do I Use the IV Arm and Hand?

Put a drop of either dish detergent or surgical lubricant onto the tip of each connector or reservoir tubes and connect to the silicone tubes at the right shoulder of the manikin.

How Do I Connect the Brachial Pulse?

Attach the bulb to the connector at the end of the clear tubing on the left arm. Gently compress the bulb to activate the brachial pulse.

How Do I Clean This Manikin?

For clean and hygienic training with every use, the Simulaids ALS Manikin can be cleaned using a solution of mild soap and warm water. Simply wipe the surface of the manikin using a damp cloth and leave to dry before storing.
