The Infant Male and Female Catheterisation Trainer is ideal for students to practice inserting, positioning and inflating a balloon catheter. The model is inexpensive due to the removable genital inserts: one model only is required for both the male and female anatomy. The realistic material used for the genitals means the simulator provides the resistance and pressure of a real patient. Water is released when the catheter is in the correct position to mimic the flow of urine.

With only the lower half of an infant provided, the model can be used with a standard 8 French latex or silicone intermittent catheter. A suitable simulator for training students on the correct technique.
