How Hygienic Are the Macintosh Blades?

As the Castillo Macintosh Blades are designed for single use only, they are incredibly more hygienic than reusable alternatives. The back of each blade is clearly marked as being designed for single use only. This helps to reduce the risk of them accidentally being used more than once.

How Reliable Is the Callisto Macintosh Blade?

The fittings of the Callisto Macintosh Blade conform to ISO 7376:2006 ‘Anaesthetic and respiratory equipment – Laryngoscopes for tracheal intubation’. This provides peace of mind that the products are designed to a reliable standard.

The blade features two metal ball bearings for secure fitting. The rigid metal spatula is designed to look and feel like a reusable fibre optic blade.
