SIMone Birthing Simulator

The SIMone Birthing Simulator provides students with an unrivalled training experience in a unique and realistic manner. Using patented haptic response technology, a special visual and audio interface provides numerous training scenarios for a number of different birthing procedures. The model is a female abdomen with a vulva and spina ischiadica with a fetal head positioned inside. A monitor displays the exact positioning of the head as well as the position and rotation of the fetus.

Customisable delivery scenarios can be selected, enabling training for both the use of medication and intervention using a vacuum or forceps. With a new birthing scenario ready in less than a minute, students can be trained in a variety of situations.
