How Do I Install the Immedia Evacuation Transfer Sheet?

1. The sheet is designed to fit permanently under the mattress, with the red straps down and fastened to the corners with elastic cords.
2. The loose ends of the red straps must be placed on the side not touching the wall.
3. The mattress can then be flipped over and used as normal.

How Do I Use the Rescue Transfer Sheet In An Emergency?

In the case of an emergency, the Immedia Rescue can be used to quickly transfer a bedbound patient, including the entire mattress, out of a room and down stairs. To discover how best to do this, follow the instructions below.

1. In an evacuation emergency, pull out the red straps and lay over the bed.
2. Then fasten these straps to the straps on the other side, and tighten so that the mattress bends upwards on each side.
3. Use the handle at the top of the bed and pull the user and mattress gently off the bed frame.
4. Hold the handle high, giving the user maximum protection when the mattress touches the floor.
5. The user can now be transferred out of the room, and out to safety.
6. The mattress and bed covering protect the user against blows, jolts and the cold.

Washing Instructions

This product can be washed in machine up to 80°C. It can also be tumble dried and ironed on a low heat. Do no use fabric softener, bleach or dry clean.
