The 4WayGlide Nylon Sheet’s elasticated straps and “lock-in” system allows the sheet to be fixed beneath the 4WayGlide Mattress without risk of slippage. How Secure Is the Etac Immedia 4WayGlide LPL Mattress Set?

The 4WayGlide LPL Mattress and Sheet Set is designed to simultaneously provide carers with an assured method of patient adjustment, and patients with an independent means of moving up and down their bed. The mattress’s elasticated straps and the sheet’s PU-coated lock secure them both together, whilst the handles on the inside of the mattress allow patients to manoeuvre themselves, or carers to attach a hoist for assisted movement.

What Makes the Triple Locked Set Safer Than Other Models?

The 4WayGlide sheet has three PU-treated locks for attaching to the mattress, whereas other models have either one or two. This is to ensure maximum safety when caring for patients with advanced injuries and degenerative motor-neuron diseases, as these patients are at a greater risk of slipping.

Washing Instructions
