DeVilbiss VacuAide Portable Suction Machines generate consistent and powerful suction to draw an array of fluids into a canister. In order to successfully connect the canister to the suction machine, it is necessary to make use of this 4 3/8″ Patient Tubing (Pack of 12).

What Is the Purpose of This Tubing?

This tubing connects your suction machine to the canister. It is the main channel through which the suction itself travels and attaches directly between the machine and the filter. As a transparent tube, it makes it clear if any fluid has passed through the filter.

Which Suction Units Can This Tubing Be Used With?

This suction tubing five-pack is suitable for use with either of the DeVilbiss VacuAide Suction Machines:

• The DeVilbiss VacuAide 7314 Quiet Suction Unit

Can I Wash This Tubing Between Uses?

For use by the same patient, and in cases where they are not considered contagious, it is possible to wash this tubing with warm soapy water between uses. This allows it to be used for multiple suctions while maintaining appropriate hygiene.

How Often Should I Change This Tubing?

As a single use item, the six foot patient tube should be changed in between patients. It should also be changed if it begins to show any signs of wear or degradation. For usual use with one patient – although this varies highly by circumstance – it will probably need to be changed around every two to three weeks.

How Long Is This Tubing?

This is an 4 3/8″ long tube (approximately 11cm). It is the ideal length to securely connect medical suction to your canister.

Is This a Genuine DeVilbiss Replacement Part?
