The Treat-Eezi Full-Length Acute Bed Sore Overlay is an easy-to-use and inexpensive mattress topper that can effectively treat high risk patients and those with stage 2, 3 and 4 pressure ulcers without relying on air pumps or electricity. The first of its kind to be clinically trialled to heal stage 3 and 4 wounds, its polyester fibres mould to the shape of the user’s body, providing pressure relief and reduced friction whether they are sitting or laying down. Due it its extended length, it offers full body support from head to toe.

The overlay is Clinically proven to treat stage 2, 3 and 4 pressure ulcers and offers full body relief thanks to its full-length size.

What Conditions Can the Treat-Eezi Overlay Help With?

The Treat-Eezi pressure relief overlay has been clinically proven to effectively aid stage 2, 3 and 4 pressure sores, and is the first non-powered overlay to be trialled for stage 3 and 4 pressure sores. As demonstrated by the NHS led evaluation of these trials which can be found in the documentation section below, this pad is an inexpensive and simple solution to patients with a high risk of pressure sores.

How Does the Treat-Eezi Community Bed Sore Pad Control Temperature?

For maximum comfort and reduced friction, the Treat-Eezi Overlay drains moisture to the bottom of the mattress, keeping users dry and comfortable. As a result, the overlay can prevent any issues or discomfort caused by sweating and overheating.

Can This Overlay Be Paired with a Seizure Alarm?

As Treat-Eezi products do not rely on electricity, unlike traditional alternating air mattresses, they do not set off monitor alarms. They can therefore be used alongside tonic clonic seizure alarms.

Can I Clean the Treat-Eezi Bed Pad?

The Treat-Eezi Bed Sore Pad is easy to clean and be machine washed frequently as well as being bleached to avoid cross infection. The pad can also be placed inside a vapour permeable cover which can be easily wiped down or replaced whenever necessary. Even if a cover is used, the bed pad should regularly be taken out of the cover and washed or shaken out and left to breathe.

Dimensions of the Bed Sore Overlay

This longer overlay is 1.95m in length (6.4ft) and will provide protection down the length of the body where further bed sore support may be required. If you’d like a smaller option, a standard length ‘community’ version is also available. Due to the compact size of the community version, it can also be transferred to foam chairs for use when sitting, however it is not long enough to provide every patient with the same entire body support of the full length overlay.

Please note the full length overlay is only available in a four layer version for adults, while the community is available in both a four layer version for adults and a three layer version for children.
