Timesco W1 Wrist Pulse Oximeter Sleep Tracker

The Timesco W1 Wrist Pulse Oximeter Sleep Tracker combines a pulse oximeter for tracking SpO2 and pulse rates with a sleep tracker ideal for monitoring sleep apnoea. The wrist oximeter can record for up to 24 hours, and the data can then be transferred to PC software for analysis.

What’s Included?

  • 1 x Sleep Tracker
  • 1 x AAA Battery

How Does the Wrist Pulse Oximeter Work?

The Wrist Pulse Oximeter is attached to the patient’s wrist, and the patient’s fingertip can be connected with the fingertip clip. Once the power is turned on, it measures the patient’s SpO2, or oxygen saturation, as well as the pulse rate. This information is displayed in clear numbers on the LCD display.

How Does the Sleep Tracker Work?

The Wrist Sleep Tracker is worn on the wrist while the patient sleeps. As the patient sleeps, it tracks sleep patterns to monitor for any disturbances or gaps in sleep. This software can then be uploaded to a PC for analysis.

Who Can Use the Fingertip Pulse Oximeter?

The W1 Pulse Oximeter Sleep Tracker is designed both for home use to monitor your own health and for use by patients working alongside doctors to monitor changes in their pulse, SpO2, or sleeping patterns. As it can store up to 30 hours of data, this makes it ideal for use by patients overnight, or for multiple nights, before returning it to the doctor for analysis.

What Do the Numbers Mean?

The W1 Pulse Oximeter displays two key numbers during spot checks: the Sp02 level and the pulse rate. As a normal resting heart rate will differ depending on factors including health and lifestyle, it is best to ask a doctor about what your own pulse rate should be.

Generally speaking, however, a normal resting heart rate is around 60 to 100 beats per minute (bpm). Normal blood oxygen saturation level is typically around 95% to 100%.

How Long Does A Fully Charged Battery Last?

The W1 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is provided with one AAA battery, which, when fully charged, provides up to 24 hours of continuous use. This is particularly suitable for use in busy medical environments where it’s important to ensure that equipment is ready to go should the next patient require it. The ability to record up to 24 hours of data at any one time makes it ideal for use at night when the patient is sleeping to track their sleep apnoea.
