Stretcher Bar Lifting Aid

The Stretcher Bar Lifting Aid is a sling bar that is used together with a Stretcher Sling to aid safe and secure horizontal lifting of low-mobility patients. It can be used with a variety of SystemRoMedic’s stationary or mobile patient lifting devices to facilitate safe and easy lifting, without strain on the carer or distress to pain-sensitive patients.

Transferring patients from bed to bed, or even moving them higher up in bed, can be a struggle sometimes. This is particularly pertinent for patients who are heavier or possess low mobility.

Tasks like these can be an ordeal when unprepared, causing strain or an injured back for the carer and distress for the patient. This Stretcher Bar ensures that, with the right accessories, you can safely and easily move patients in a supine position without any hassle.

Adjustable Suspension Bar

The Stretcher Bar, which can withstand weights of up to 300kg (660lb), features ten suspension points – five on each side of the user – in which a Stretcher Sling hooks in to. The width of the sling is easily adjusted by pulling out or pushing in the suspension hooks so that you can determine the best fit for your patients.
