How Do I Lubricate the Trauma Head?

To lubricate the Trauma Head Injury Manikin, only water-based lubricants should be used. Petroleum based lubricants must not be used. A tube of jelly is included and a thin coating should be applied on the E.T tube before inserting it into the trainer.

How Do I Clean This Manikin?

To clean the Trauma Head Injury Manikin, follow the steps below:

1. Unsnap the overlay and remove the lung and stomach tubes and insert enclosed plugs
2. Unsnap the head from the torso
3. Carefully remove the head and tubes connected from the manikin
4. Remove the plugs from the tubes and flush the mouth through with water until the stomach tube runs clear
5. Clean with soap and water externally
