How Does the Parafricta Single Flat Bedsheet Work?

The Parafricta single flat sheet provides protection to users’ skin where there is a risk of friction and associated shear damage. Possible damage includes:

• Acute agitation
• Healing burns
• Fragile skin conditions

Who Can Use the Pressure Relieving Flat Sheet?

This product is ideal for bedbound patients with fragile skin, as they may be prone to damage from sliding and repositioning. The sheet may also provide increased comfort to users with skin conditions irritated by contact with conventional, less smooth sheets.

Which Mattresses Are Compatible with This Sheet?

This flat sheet is 292cm long and 172cm wide, designed to fit a standard single bed mattress (190 x 90cm). It is suitable for both flat and tilted beds, on standard or static mattresses. This product is especially beneficial when used on a static pressure relieving mattress.

How Do I Use the Parafricta Flat Bedsheet?

This product features a polycotton rim and low-friction centre panel. The panel should always be located under the trunk of the user. When sheets are being used for skin protection, the heels should also rest on the panel. However, if the sheets are being used to aid self-repositioning, the heels should rest on the polycotton rim (as shown in the image below).

How Do I Clean the White Single Flat Bedsheet?

Parafricta sheets should be washed in a hot (60ºC) synthetic cycle in a domestic washing machine, or on a 95ºC cycle if maximum sanitation is required.
