How Does the Kidney-Shaped Foam Pad Work?

The pad is made from a foam rubber, and this is placed over a bony prominence such as the ankle bone. The bandages or stockings can then be worn on top of this, and any pressure applied is distributed evenly to relieve any pain or discomfort on the bony area.
