HypaGuard Philips Defibrillator Station

Defibrillators are vital pieces of first aid equipment, so it is essential that you understand how to use one in an emergency. The HypaGuard Philips Defibrillator Station comes equipped with Resuscitation Council-approved guidance for proper use and instruction on how to correctly perform CPR.

The Defibrillator Station Includes

  • 1 x Philips HeartStart HS1 AED
  • 1 x Adult Electrode Pads Cartridge
  • 1 x Battery
  • 1 x Manual and Setup Guide
  • 1 x Guidance Poster
  • 1 x Bracket
  • 1 x AED Inspection Tag
  • 1 x Wall Mountings with Instructions

Designed to Be Easy to Use

Most people aren’t medical professionals, so in an emergency, instructions need to be clear and equipment easy to use. The Defibrillator Station comes with iconography approved by the Resuscitation Council and written guidance on its use, as well as a step-by-step guide on how to properly perform CPR.

Key Features of the Philips HS1

The HS1 is designed specifically to be used by the first person who responds to an emergency, as such it is incredibly easy to use and requires almost zero maintenance. Other features include:

  • Small and light fail-safe design that detects whether or not a shock is needed
  • Able to deliver a shock within 8 seconds
  • Automatically self-checks
  • Reliable in a range of different conditions and environments
  • Delivers calm, audible voice prompts to guide the user through using the AED or performing CPR

Wall-Mountable for Increased Visibility

The defibrillator comes with all the mountings required for fixing it to a wall. The poster is specifically designed with bright colours for increased visibility and includes information that is normally only found in instruction manuals, including:

  • How to check the battery
  • Pad expiry dates
  • The meaning of the AED’s audible warnings

Make Sure Your Device Is Operational

There’s no point having a defibrillator if it doesn’t work, so it needs to be checked regularly. The Defibrillator Station includes an AED inspection tag with space for 12 entries to keep track of when it was last inspected.
