Who Can Use the Etac Immedia Positioning Wedge?

The Etac Immedia Positioning Wedge is an adjustment aid designed to assist carers and hospital staff in positioning their patients and wards. Ideal for those with limited mobility, the wedge is an exceptional tool for purposes such as wound dressing, bed-baths and lower body hygiene.

How Secure Is the Positioning Wedge?

The Immedia Positioning Wedge is designed to remain static until pressure is applied to the vertical back. The main body of the wedge is constructed from non-slip polyurethane foam, whilst the cover is constructed from PU-dipped polyester, which repels potentially slippery liquids.

How Do I Use the Etac Immedia Positioning Wedge?

Take a look at the instructions below to find out how best to utilise this positioning device.

1. The wedge is positioned beside the patient.
2. We recommend using the MultiGlide Patient Slide Sheet beneath the patient to increase motion.
3. Gently moving the wedge forwards, while pulling the slide sheet, turn/position the patient against the wedge as required.

The Etac Immedia Positioning Wedge is available in two sizes (width x length x height):

• Small: 30 x 53 x 20cm
• Large: 30 x 80 x 20cm

Washing Instructions

This product can be washed in a machine up to 80°C. Do no use fabric softener, bleach or dry clean. Tumble dry and iron on a low heat.
