Who Can Use the Immedia Dolphin Transfer Board?

The Immedia Dolphin is suitable for acute, long-term and home care environments. It is designed for manually handling seated patients with good seated balance. This includes from a toilet or bathing chair to a wheelchair, and vice versa.

How Does the Dolphin Toilet Board Work?

This aid can help individuals use the toilet independently, or with help from a carer. The board features cut-outs on each side which slot into the sides of the wheelchair when at an angle, whilst the large area with the hole is positioned on the toilet seat. The user can then slide across onto the toilet, as shown in the images below.

Will This Transfer Board Stay In Place During Use?

The Dolphin Transfer Board is a sturdy and stable transfer board uniquely designed for transfer to the toilet. The board has cut-outs for positioning against the wheel of the wheelchair, and non-slip pads to ensure good positioning and prevent the board from sliding out of place. The large centre cut-out allows the user to remain on the board whilst using the toilet.

Can I Use a Glide Cushion with the Dolphin Board?

Cleaning Instructions

The Etac Dolphin Toilet Transfer Board should be cleaned regularly, preferably each time it is used. It can be cleaned with soapy water or disinfectant. This product can also be cleaned with a solvent-free cleaning agent with a pH level between 5 and 9, or a 70% disinfection solution.
