The Chair Mat is designed as a spare or replacement mat for use with the Voice Alert Occupancy Monitoring Alarm System. When used alongside the compatible pager and transmitter,  it allows you to monitor when an individual leaves a chair.

Compatibility of the Chair Mat

The spare chair mat is designed to replace the chair mat provided with your existing Voice Alert Occupancy Monitoring Alarm System. The mat is provided in the same great quality as the original, ensuring reliable use.

Who Can Use the Chair Mat?

When used alongside the required transmitter and pager, the chair mat is ideal for whether you’re caring for an individual or multiple residents in a care home environment. If a vulnerable individual in your care is prone to getting up and wandering around, or if they are at risk of falling out of the chair, then this mat can help you to monitor this by issuing an alert when the chair becomes suddenly unoccupied.

How Does the Chair Mat Work?

The chair pressure mat is placed under the cushion of the chair, and this is then connected to the transmitter (sold separately). When the mat detects that the user has left the chair, an alert is transmitted to the pager (also sold separately) so that you can assist if necessary.

How Comfortable Is the Chair Mat?

The chair mat is incredibly thin, which means that it isn’t noticeable or uncomfortable under the chair. It can be placed underneath the cushion out of the way.
