Wilma Wound Foot

The Wilma Wound Foot is the newest and most comprehensive model of its kind! Moulded from an 80-year old patient for a true-to-life experience when assessing the various wounds, twenty different conditions are presented so that the differences of each can be analysed.

Highly Realistic Training of Wound Care

Great care has been taken to colour each wound just as you would see it on a patient. Once the different etiologies are understood, you can discuss and devise treatment plans that will deliver optimized patient care.  The correct assessment of wounds is critical for insuring suitable treatment and for preventing adverse affects, with this in mind, the Wilma Wound Foot has been created to educate students and professionals in the accurate analysis of wounds.  An excellent visual aid, the model is ideal for educating patients, allowing them to see what can occur without proper care. Routine cleansing and dressing changes can be taught and practiced on all the wounds by healthcare providers, patients, families and caregivers.

Flexible Teaching Aid

  • Made of flexible material to permit the toes to be moved for closer examination
  • Application of dressings can be made around individual toes
  • Application and removal of dressings do not leave an “adhesive residue”
  • Supplied with a positioning base for the foot for “hands free” access to all site
  • A great tool for training, competency testing, skills assessment and dressing techniques
