The Lumbar Spinal Column with Prolapsed Intervertebral Disc is a realistic model which details the fourth and fifth lumbar vertebrae with spinal nerves and spinal cord. The anatomical model also includes two replaceable dorso-lateral prolapsed discs between the two lumbar vertebrae.

The discs illustrate either central or dorso-lateral prolapse and the model dissects into five parts, allowing for study of the construction of the spinal column section.

The vertebrae are naturally cast and the model is delivered on a stand for easy display. This stand is removable to allow for a close-up study of the Lumbar Spinal Column.
