How Does the Remote-Control Work?

This Auscultation Manikin is controlled via a wireless remote control that can be programmed by the user to simulate a variety of different conditions. The remote does not have be pointed directly at the manikin or SmartScope to operate the device. One remote will also control multiple SmartScopes and manikins at a time, making this training device ideal for group practice.

Care and Maintenance of the Life/Form Auscultation Trainer

This training manikin has been designed to provide the greatest possible durability and with ease of use in mind. To prolong the life of this product, there are a number of measures that you can take to keep your manikin in good condition:

• Before storing the chest skin with umbilicus, drain the umbilicus by raising the body over the height of the IV bag and then opening the ramp clamp
• Allow the blood to flow back past the bag clamp, then close the clamp
• Disconnect the IV bag and pour the fluid back into the container
• If synthetic blood was used, flush out both the bag and umbilicus with clean water and allow them to dry
