Sizing Information for the Head Protex Epilepsy Helmet

The Soft Shell Helmet is available in eight different sizes. To find out which size you require, please measure the circumference of your head and choose the correct size from the dropdown menu at the top of the page.

Please note that the margin between sizes is quite narrow, so it’s important to take your time and get the right size.

To find your correct size, please follow these instructions:

1. Measure the circumference around your head from the centre of your forehead
2. Wrap the measure around the entirety of the head
3. Match your head circumference to the correct measurement in the third table column table below
4. Use this measurement to select the correct size helmet from the dropdown menu above

Unfortunately, due to the compact fitted nature of the Padded Seizure Helmet, we do not recommend purchase if your head circumference is over 57cm.

How Does the Head Protex Helmet Work?

The Protex Helmet features thick padding that wraps around your head and around the top of your head. This is secured in place by a chin strap that can be tightened to prevent movement during use. Once the Head Protex Helmet is fitted, it will stay in place and protect the head should you or the wearer bang it on a hard surface.

How Safe is it For Children to Wear?

The support also features quick-release childproof clips that can easily be used by an adult but cannot be activated by a child. This helps ensure your child can’t easily remove the helmet while they aren’t in your company.

The Head Protex Helmet has been carefully crafted to ensure it provides your charge with the best possible protection and support. This includes the chin strap of the helmet, which is adjustable and padded for improved comfort during use. This special chin strap ensures that the helmet is secure, and will not move around during use.
