Auscultation Trainer and SmartScope

Controlled via a wireless remote, this Auscultation Trainer can simulate a wide range of heart and lung conditions for students to identify. These can be heard via the SmartScope as it is moved to different locations on the manikin and include the following:

Lung:

Bronchovesicular, Bronchial, Cavernous, Coarse Crackle, Egophony, Fine Crackle, Friction Rub, Mono Wheeze, Normal Lung, Pectoriloquy, Pulmonary Oedema, Rhonch, Stridor, Vesicular and Wheeze.

Heart:

Aortic Regurgitation, Atrial Septal Defect, Holosystolic, Midsystolic, Mitral Stenosis, Normal, PDA, Pulmonary, Stenosis, S3 Gallop, S4 Gallop, Systolic Click and VSD.

How Does the Remote-Control Work?

The training manikin is controlled via a wireless remote control that can be programmed by the instructor to simulate a range of heart and lung conditions. The remote does not have to be pointed directly at the manikin or SmartScope to operate the device and can control a number of SmartScopes at once, making it ideal for group training.

Practice Board

Measuring in at 16 x 20 inches, this Practice Board features 12 posterior lung locations including six upper posterior, four lower posterior and two mid-auxiliary posteriors that help to guide students through the transition from anatomical drawings for identification on the three-dimensional torso.
